Despite the political uncertainty of 2016, punters with online bookmaker are predicting no surprises at next week’s NSW by-elections.

  • One week until the NSW by-elections and punters are predicting no changing of the guard.
  • Liberals are $1.10 to win Manly and $1.45 to retain North Shore.
  • Labor are a short $1.05 to hold Gosford.

In Manly, the Liberal party are a short $1.10 to hold their seat with over 99% of the money wagered placed on candidate James Griffin.

It’s a similar story in the neighbouring electorate of North Shore where the Liberals are $1.45 to win and are holding 93% of the money.

Further up the coast, Sportsbet are reporting strong support for Labor to win the seat at odds of $1.05 and 94% of wagers.

“There’s only one week until polls open but judging from the punters there’s no real need to as they’re confident all seats will remain unchanged,’’ said’s Will Byrne.
