Both the Bears and the Vikings have fallen well short of expectations this season, meaning this might be the final time we see both Matt Nagy and Mike Zimmer under the coaching headset.
Minnesota prevailed 17-9 when these two sides met in a less-than exciting game three weeks ago, and it is the Vikings who will go in as favourites again with Kirk Cousins now activated from the COVID list.
The Bears, meanwhile, have some concerns at quarterback themselves, but it sounds as though Justin Fields will play through an ankle injury.
As far as betting goes, I think the Vikings get the job done after being embarrassed by the Packers on national TV last week.
Minnesota has played to a middling 4-4 record on the back of a loss this year, and the offence should be eager to put up some points after being held to a measly 206 yards last week at Lambeau.
Fields’ ankle will likely limit his mobility outside of the pocket, and if he’s forced to throw more than he’d like, this could be a long game for Chicago.
