The 8-2 Packers will be hoping to sew up the division this week with a win over the Vikings on the road.
It wasn’t pretty, but Green Bay managed to bounce-back with a win over the Seahawks at Lambeau last week in Aaron Rodgers’ return from COVID.
The offence was dealt a loss with Aaron Jones suffering a knee injury, but backup A.J. Dillon filled in nicely with a pair of touchdowns to compliment another huge day from the defence.
Minnesota, meanwhile, grinded out a gutsy win over the Chargers to improve to 4-5.
The Vikings have been ahead in every game they’ve played this season, and if it wasn’t for a few costly mistakes or last-minute field goals, there mightn’t be as much separating these two sides in the standings.
Green Bay has won three of its last four meetings against Minnesota, but I think the Vikings are a serious threat to bring the Packers’ defence back down to earth.
Dalvin Cook has given Green Bay problems in the past, while the Vikes are also getting a big boost on defence with Patrick Peterson and Harrison Smith a chance at returning.
This game will likely boil down to a couple of key possessions, but with home-field advantage and Kirk Cousins playing extremely well, I think the Vikings are a good bet to cover.
