Julie Bishop is tipped to still be Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party when the next election takes place according to the odds from online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au.

  • Sportsbet make Julie Bishop the $2.00 favourite to still be Deputy Leader at the election.
  • A Turnbull/Bishop leader/deputy card is also favoured at $2.30.
  • The next reshuffle is tipped for July or Aug this year at odds of $2.75.

Bishop is the $2.00 favourite to remain in the position with Christopher Pyne paying odds of $4.00 to replace her and Peter Dutton considered a $5.00 chance.

Malcolm Turnbull and Julie Bishop leading the party into the election as leader and deputy leader pays $2.30.

There is however some change predicted in the future with a cabinet reshuffle likely to occur between July and Aug according to the betting at odds of $2.75.

“There’s always a game of chess being played in Canberra but according to our odds this bishop won’t be moved anytime soon,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
