Whether it was a Sydney Derby hangover, Brisbane’s stifling humidity or a combination of both factors, the Wanderers reverted to 2019 form last weekend going down 3-1.
Thankfully the conditions at AAMI Park this weekend should be a lot more conducive to football this Saturday and we should be in for a real treat.
There is no chance that the Wanderers will be as flat as they were last Friday but they are running into a City side that is full of confidence after taking a stranglehold on second place with a huge win in Perth last weekend.
Quite a lot has changed since their two meetings this season, City claiming 3-0 and 3-2 victories, however I still give the edge to the home side as it sure looks like things clicked last weekend.
