Despite suffering a second-half fadeout at the Adelaide Oval last Wednesday night, New South Wales are $1.30 favourites at TAB to defeat Queensland ($3.60) in Origin 2 at ANZ Stadium tomorrow night.
The Blues have received 63 percent of support from TAB customers, which has resulted in them firming from an opening price of $1.35 to their current price of $1.30.
Due to the backing for New South Wales, the Maroons have drifted from $3.20 to $3.60 and are close to matching their pre-game price for Origin 1.
Queensland were $3.70 at TAB to win the opening game of the 2020 Origin series and their 18-14 triumph in Adelaide was the biggest Origin upset since TAB offered sports betting in 1998.
The Blues have tightened from $2.05 immediately after losing Origin 1 to $1.95 to win this year’s series while the Maroons – $4 before the opening game – have eased from $1.77 to $1.85.
One TAB customer has placed $10,000 at $1.85 on Queensland to be crowned 2020 State of Origin champions.
