Port reclaimed their spot inside the top four last week with a strong win over St Kilda as they now look to cement their place with a win over Collingwood on Friday night.
The Power came from two goals down to snatch a one-point win right at the death over the Pies when they met earlier in May, a game both teams have likely spent the week reflecting on.
Unfortunately, a similar story unfolded last week as the Pies blew a two-goal half-time lead in a disappointing loss to Carlton.
To make matters worse, the Pies also suffered some major casualties with Callum Brown, Brody Mihocek and Will Hoskin-Elliott all suffering injuries – three key outs that obviously make this road trip very tough against one of the healthiest teams in the competition.
It’s fair to say the jury is still out on Port as far as the flag is concerned, but this does look a nice game for them to make up ground against a wounded opponent.
The Power have also won four straight home games over Collingwood dating back to 2011, so they do have a serious home-field advantage this time around.
