After withstanding a final quarter comeback from the Western Bulldogs, St Kilda have firmed from $34 to $17 to win the 2020 AFL premiership.
The Saints led by as much as 26 points in the third quarter and were as short as $1.01 before hanging on for a three-point elimination final win over the Bulldogs at the Gabba.
In TAB’s opening market for next weekend’s semi-final, Richmond are $1.40 favourites to bounce back from last night’s 15-point qualifying loss to the Brisbane Lions with St Kilda $2.90 outsiders.
One TAB punter was left to rue St Kilda’s final quarter fadeout against the Western Bulldogs having placed $50,000 at $2.90 before the first bounce on the Saints to win by 11 points or more.
