The Tiges find themselves a game clear in eighth spot off the back of four consecutive victories.
All four of those wins have been against sides outside of the top eight but they have certainly found some form.
This has been even more impressive considering that Dustin Martin has not set the world on fire as he continues to build his fitness after his hiatus.
And the Tiges get Sydney at the right time.
The Swans have just a singular win in their last four games, the latest loss at the hands of Carlton last Friday night.
Two of those recent losses have been to current top four teams in Brisbane and the Blues but the loss to the Gold Coast Suns was concerning.
