Tuesday’s game promises to be a nail-biter, with both teams desperately trying to hold onto their top four spots. The Strikers and Renegades have both had their ups and downs lately, with the Strikers losing four straight before finally getting a win against the Hurricanes last Thursday and the Renegades narrowly escaping with victories over the Stars and Hurricanes.
However, the Strikers have historically had the upper hand against the Renegades, winning three of their last five meetings dating back to 2019. Plus, the Renegades have yet to win a game outside of Melbourne this season, so I’m giving the edge to the Strikers. And with Chris Lynn and Matthew Short leading the league in runs scored, I think it’s a safe bet to go with the Strikers to win and have the highest score after six overs.
