Two interceptions from Lamar Jackson cost the Ravens big time last week against the Steelers, but there’s no time to dwell on the past with a game against the 5-2 Colts up next.
As expected, there is very little separating these two AFC Wild Card contenders both head-to-head and at the line.
Baltimore is being favoured ever so slightly at -2.5, but nothing is a guarantee against a Colts defence that is arguably one of the best in the league.
Indianapolis has so far allowed the fewest total yards and the third-fewest points in the entire league, which does pose a bit of a problem for a Baltimore offence that is yet to really click into gear.
That being said, the Colts are yet to face a test of this magniture.
So far Indianapolis owns wins over the Vikings, Jets, Bears, Bengals and Lions, only one of which is currently above .500.
The Ravens rarely lose back-to-back games, and while the Colts are outstanding defensively, it’s difficult to back the turnover-prone Philip Rivers with any confidence against a fierce Baltimore pass rush.
