Belgian F1 Grand Prix Tips, Odds and Betting – 2018

Formula 1 returns from its annual summer break on Sunday night, and with just 24-points separating Lewis Hamilton and Sebastian Vettel in the standings, we’re in for a real treat.

With 10 races to go, the race towards the World Championship is the one worth watching, but there’s no track to better separate the contenders from the pretenders like the menacing Spa circuit in Belgium.

Featuring a mixture of long straights and extremely tight corners, this mountainside track always delivers plenty of high-intensity moments.

To help you pick a winner, you can check out our entire 2018 Belgian Grand Prix Preview below for all of our tips!

Best Bet – Lewis Hamilton to Win @ $2.38

Not for the first time this season, history is on the line for Hamilton as he guns for a fourth victory on the Spa circuit.

If Hamilton is to pass the chequered flag first, he’ll join Jim Clark and Kimi Raikkonen as the only two drivers to win four Belgian Grand Prix’s.

Standing in Hamilton’s way is, of course, Sebastian Vettel. These two have played out some classics on this track in past years, and have gone tit-for-tat through the entirety of 2018 as well. The good news for Vettel, and more importantly Mercedes, is Ferrari haven’t won on this circuit in nearly 10-years.

Best Value – King of the Road (Pole, Fastest Lap & Race Win): Lewis Hamilton @ $11.00

Hamilton’s dominance at Spa is well documented, but did you know Mercedes have started in pole position in each of the last six years?

Having won this race in 2010, 2015 and 2017, Hamilton is likely to repeat his success once again, and he should do it in style. The multiple World Champion recorded the fastest lap of the race last season, clocking 1:42:553 on the gun.

Podium Finish – Valtteri Bottas @ $2.10

Mercedes have been tinkering with their engines over the summer break, and with Ferrari’s pit-stop drama costing Vettel a winning chance during the Hungarian Grand Prix, it’s tough to trust Ferrari at this stage of the season.

Bottas has cracked the podium five times this season, and with the unpredictable nature of the Spa circuit, he’s every chance of either winning or standing second or third this weekend.
