His team is on the nose with punters this week but Nathan Fyfe has been the subject of TAB’s biggest individual bet on the 2021 Brownlow Medal.
One punter is confident the Fremantle captain can become only the fifth three-time winner of the AFL’s most prestigious individual award, unloading $9,920 on him at $17. It is the largest bet on this year’s Brownlow and the potential payout of $168,640 is TAB’s greatest liability for one single wager.
Fyfe remains $17.00 in the market headed by Christian Petracca ($4.50) and Marcus Bontempelli ($5.00).
Despite the confidence in Fyfe, the Dockers have been easy in Sunday’s clash with Essendon, drifting from $2 on Monday to $2.20, with the Bombers now $1.65 after $1.80 was bet earlier in the week.
GWS has been one of the week’s biggest movers, in to $2.55 after $3.10 was available prior to the news around Shai Bolton and Daniel Rioli, with Richmond $1.35 out to $1.50, while Hawthorn ($1.48 to $1.34) has been heavily supported against the winless North Melbourne ($2.60 to $3.20).
