It has been a disastrous season for the Brisbane Broncos and they are expected to suffer another loss on Friday night as they are $12 outsiders to defeat the Sydney Roosters ($1.03) in their Round 16 encounter at the SCG.
The $12 available for the Broncos to stun the Roosters is the biggest price Brisbane has been to win an NRL game since TAB offered sports betting in 1998.
It was only five rounds ago that the Broncos started $8.50 outsiders when they were thrashed 46-8 by Melbourne at Suncorp Stadium, which is part of their current six-game losing streak.
