Preview:

Both teams are in tremendous form. The 14-11 Bullets extended their winning streak to six games via an 87-83 victory over Melbourne United last weekend. Lamar Patterson (31 pts) has top-scored in each of Brisbane’s six straight wins.

The 13-13 Breakers have won four of their last five, coming up with two clutch wins in Round 18 – 113-89 at home to Adelaide and 65-56 in Wollongong in a match cut short by a leak in the roof. News that teen NBA prospect RJ Hampton’s stint at the club is over should not unduly affect the team, who have arguably been better without him.

The Breakers claimed wins at home (96-85) and away (99-96) over the Bullets in December. But the Bullets responded with an impressive 95-85 victory in Auckland four weeks ago.

Expect a cliff-hanger befitting of what’s at stake and the great touch both teams are in. The Bullets are an imposing 9-3 at home, but with five wins in their last seven on the road the Breakers look better value against the line.
