This is a fixture that in the past has featured goals, red cards, scuffles (both on and off the pitch) and dramatic finishes.
Chances are this game will be closer to the 1-0 win Adelaide picked up at Hindmarsh Stadium in November as opposed to the 5-3 end to end clash in Round 27 last April.
While Brisbane is still looking for the right combination in attack, their work improving on their defence compared to last season deserves plenty of credit with just five goals conceded in six matches since Christmas thanks in large part to the stellar play of Jamie Young.
This game could very well come down to who scores first and I’ll back another tight, grind of a game as both sides limit the others chances.
