For the second time in eight days, the Roar and Victory will meet this time at Brisbane’s new home ground at Dolphin Stadium.
Brisbane Roar was sensational in their 3-1 win over Victory at AAMI Park with a stunning turnaround in the 2nd half to put the game beyond doubt
It seemed that Victory was doing a half-day last weekend, only bothering in the first half before allowing the likes of Dylan Wenzel-Halls and Macaulay Gillesphey to dominate for the Roar.
If you only watched the first half of last weeks encounter, you’d be impressed with Victory especially their English import in Callum McManaman after that stunning goal in the 23rd minute.
Perhaps getting another shot at the Brisbane Roar in the space of eight days might be a blessing for Victory, although the clubs away record is not that flash – having won one out of their last eight away games they’ll certainly be wanting to prove that they can maintain a full 90 minutes of competitive Football.
Given the topsy-turvy nature of A-League Football, I think it’s unlikely we’ll see a repeat performance and I find there’s good value in both sides splitting the points.
