The Blues have a chance to venture closer to the top four on Sunday at home against the Crows.
As expected, the Blues flexed their muscle against North Melbourne last week in a dominant 50-point win, while the Crows were on the receiving end of a loss by a similar margin to GWS.
Blowout losses from a young side like Adelaide is to be expected, but as we’ve seen already this season, surprise wins also aren’t out of the question.
The Crows have taken Freo to the sword in Round 1, lost by only four to Essendon, and also beaten Richmond and the Bulldogs in recent weeks.
Better yet, Adelaide has played to a strong 9-5 record on the back of a loss over the last 12 months, while Matthew Nicks’ side lost by only 10 when they played Carlton last year.
Backing the Crows to win is tough, but if they can take it to the Blues early like North did last week, they might be in with a chance.
