There’s really only one word to describe the Bengals right now: dangerous.
Cincinnati made a statement last week with a 34-31 win over Kansas City, a result that also helped them secure their first AFC North crown since 2015.
The Joe Burrow – Ja’Marr Chase partnership is absolutely deadly, while the defence has also been outstanding – especially on third down.
Unfortunately, even with the No. 1 seed still a chance, the Bengals are likely to rest the majority of their starters this week in favour of staying healthy for the playoffs.
In turn, that has left the Browns as the favourites at home, but I still don’t think Cleveland is guaranteed a win with Baker Mayfield out after undergoing surgery.
Case Keenum and Nick Chubb are capable of carrying the load, but I still feel better about backing a high-scoring game than I do the Browns to cover.
The Total has gone Over in seven of the last eight meetings between these two sides, so I’ll stick with that.
