The Pies have a history of travelling to Perth as an underdog and winning and they got the biggest scalp of their 2022 campaign with a win over Fremantle on Sunday afternoon.
They kicked 12 goals against a Dockers outfit that has been tough to score against so far this season.
Craig Mcrae will be most impressed with his sides ability to pressure the opposition and their work rate without the football, laying 89 tackles throughout the game which is well up on their 60.8 tackles per game average.
Carlton find themselves firmly entrenched inside the top four with just the two losses this season and have now won four on the trot.
They ground out a touch 15 point win against Sydney on Friday night thanks largely to six goals from Charlie Curnow and 34 touches to Sam Walsh.
Curnow has been important in the absence of Harry Mckay and he sits on top of the leading goalkicker list with 33 goals.
