Last season, the Bucs rode a four-game winning streak into the playoffs before a crowning victory against the reigning champion Chiefs, delivering the city’s second and Tom Brady’s seventh Super Bowl victory.
Contrastingly, the Cowboys are coming off their worst season since 2015, winning only six games in Mike McCarthy’s first campaign as head coach, with starting quarterback Dak Prescott playing only five of those after a season-ending ankle injury in Week 5.
The return of Prescott will certainly give Cowboys fans plenty of hope heading into a season where they will start as NFC East favourites in a wide open division.
