F1 Bahrain Grand Prix 2020 Tips, Odds and Free Bonus Bets

Only three races remain on the 2020 Formula 1 calendar and two of those will play out on the Bahrain International Circuit beginning on Sunday.

Lewis Hamilton has already secured his seventh world title, while Mercedes have also sewn up the constructors championship – but that isn’t to say we can’t find some value in betting.

With several drivers looking to finish up on a high note, you can find our best 2020 Bahrain Grand Prix bets below.

2020 Bahrain Grand Prix Top 6 Finish

Sebastian Vettel at $6.50

This is enormous value for the German following his first podium finish of the season a fortnight ago in Instanbul.

Long story short, Vettel is a master when it comes to the Bahrain Circuit where he currently holds four wins between 2012-2018. Also worth noting is Ferrari’s track record as a whole – six wins since this race joined the calendar in 2004.

Obviously it’s tough to have complete confidence in Ferrari right now, but with some rain forecast for race day, Vettel could sneak another top six finish if Scuderia play it safe with their tyre strategy.

2020 Bahrain Grand Prix Double Points Finish

McLaren  at $1.83

The Bahrain Circuit offers drives a handful of opportunities to overtake, especially around the DRS zones.

Lando Norris finished sixth in this race last year while his teammate Carlos Sainz retired due to gearbox failure, but even so, I do think there’s some money to be made on both McLaren cars to finish in the points.

Norris and Sainz were outstanding two weeks ago in Turkey finishing inside the top ten, and based on the speed we’ve seen from the McLaren engine’s all season, I think they’ll both prove a handful on a track like this.

2020 Bahrain Grand Prix Podium Finish

Sergio Perez at $3.29

Racing Point came away empty-handed in Turkey after Sergio Perez started on poll.

The tyre strategy ultimately cost Racing Point a well-deserved win after leading for most of the race, but there was still plenty of merit in Perez’s runner-up to Lewis Hamilton.

With rain expected again, I’m willing to bet Racing Point have learned from their mistakes.
