F1 Tuscan Grand Prix 2020 Tips, Odds and Free Bonus Bets

Hot on the heels of one of the most exciting Grand Prix’s of the last decade, the Formula 1 season now heads to Tuscany in what will be Ferrari’s 1000th race.

Nothing has gone right for the red colours this year and they again find themselves with their back to the wall after both cars failed to finish last weekend at Monza.

Lewis Hamilton, who still holds a commanding 47-point lead in the driver’s standings, has been installed as your odds-on favourite despite both Mercedes drivers failing to find the podium last weekend.

All eyes will be on AlphaTauri and McLaren following last week’s upset, which means there is tremendous value on offer in the market.

We’ve previewed the entire 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix and offer our thoughts below.

2020 Tuscan Grand Prix Double Top 6 Finish

McLaren at $2.50

This is an outstanding price for both Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris to finish top six for the second week in a row.

The early events at Monza last week obviously played into McLaren’s hands, but with Ferrari looking no hope and Red Bull struggling for speed, there is a bit to like about both drivers coming close.

Since this is the first ever F1 event to be held at the Mugello Circuit, you can bet we’ll see plenty of drama this weekend.

The reality is that McLaren probably could have finished 1-2 at Monza last week if not for a red flag, and since many drivers, including Mark Webber, consider this to be one of the fastest tracks int he world, everything should play into McLaren’s hands.

2020 Tuscan Grand Prix First Car Retirement

Ferrari at $6.00

We hate to pick on Ferrari, but this shapes up as another forgettable race weekend for the Scuderia team.

Brake failure cost Sebastian Vettel and Charles Leclerc last week at Monza and things are about to get even quicker this weekend at Mugello.

This weekend is going to be a huge physical test for all drivers on a track that is well known for its wicked G-force. Throw in the 30’C heat, and suddenly things don’t look good for Ferrari.

2020 Tuscan Grand Prix Fastest Lap

Lewis Hamilton at $2.10

Despite the unknowns heading into the weekend, most experts are expecting everything to return to normal this week following the wild events at Monza.

That means we should see Lewis Hamilton or Valtteri Bottas atop the podium and, if they get their tyre strategy right, some pretty quick times from Mercedes on a very speedy track.
