Together with an 8-10 record in 2021, Fremantle and Richmond will look to move ahead at Optus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Although their records are identical, the Tigers are considered the favourites to claim eighth, whereas the Dockers have only been given an outside chance.

The lack of confidence in Fremantle’s ability to challenge for September comes from its incredibly poor record against clubs ranked 13th or higher entering Round 20.

The Dockers are 2-10 in those matches and each of their remaining four fixtures come against such opponents.
