We all know you don’t win premierships in April, however Geelong won’t be winning premierships on the last Saturday in September based on the Cats current style of play.
There was nothing inspiring or scary about their 30-point victory over bottom of the ladder North Melbourne last week, with skill errors and terrible accuracy in front of goal the main feature.
Had they played any other opponent, they would be coming off a loss.
Fortunately, the Cats have another game at GMHBA Stadium and they are playing West Coast, who so far this season have blown chances to seal the win when playing in Victoria.
Perhaps Jeremy Cameron making his debut for the Cats in front of their adoring home crowd will give this game some spark, but it’s fair to say I’m feeling a bit UNDERwhelmed going into this one.
