Gold Coast Titans vs Melbourne Storm Preview

As Round 3 approaches, the Gold Coast Titans and Melbourne Storm are both looking to bounce back from disappointing losses in their previous matches. The Titans took a 12-2 lead against the Dragons in Round 2 but ultimately fell 32-18, while the Storm were soundly beaten 26-12 by the Canterbury Bulldogs. The Titans will be happy to have Brian Kelly back in the lineup, though Jojo Fifita will be out of the backline. Meanwhile, Chris Randall replaces Sam Verrills at hooker, and Joseph Vuna and Iszac Fa’asuamaleaui are set to make appearances from the bench. On the Storm’s side, they have four big inclusions with Xavier Coates, Justin Olam, and Tui Kamikamica all named, and Tariq Sims making his club debut off the bench. It’s worth noting that the Titans haven’t managed to beat the Storm since 2017, so they’ll be looking to turn that around with a win at Cbus Super Stadium this Saturday afternoon.
