We could be in for a high-scoring thriller this week when the Giants and Hawks meet in Sydney.
Both clubs rank top five in goals allowed this season, a defining factor in each club’s respective losses last week.
Like they have done all season, the Hawks started fast against the Bulldogs on Friday night, only to fall away in the second half in an eventual 42-point loss.
Almost in reverse, the Giants fell behind by five goals to Collingwood, but once the heavens opened up, they came roaring home to put a real scare into the Pies, losing by only 11 in the end.
It’s been difficult to get a read on these two sides this season, but the trends do suggest the Over is a good bet here.
