Brisbane has opened as 5.5-point favourites on the road in Illawarra as they prepare to face a Hawks team desperate for a win. Now at 1-6, it’s safe to say this is a must-win game for Matt Flinn’s side as the Hawks find themselves on the bottom of the ladder.
With Brisbane on short rest and the Hawks playing only one game this round, this could turn out to be a close one, however. The Hawks have won only one of their last five games against the Bullets, but they do hold a 4-3 record as the home underdog at the line dating back to last season.
We’ll know a little more about this game depending on how the Bullets pull up from Friday’s blockbuster against Perth. If you’re looking to get in early though, take the Hawks at the line.
