Baltimore Ravens have grafted their way to three straight wins since going down to the Raiders in OT first up. After narrow victories over the Chiefs (36-35) and Lions (19-17), the Ravens stubbed out the Broncos’ unbeaten start 23-7. Lamar Jackson passed for over 300 yards for just the second time in his career, while the defence made life difficult for Teddy Bridgewater and Drew Lock.
Indianapolis Colts responded to a terrible 0-3 start with a 27-17 defeat of the Dolphins on the road. It was a much-needed step in the right direction for Carson Wentz (228 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs), while running back Jonathan Taylor (103 yards, 1 TD) and tight end Mo Alie-Cox (2 TDs) also starred.
The Ravens have won four of their last five against the Colts, including a 24-10 result when the teams met in Indianapolis last season.
Despite last week’s improvement, it’s hard to see the Colts troubling a Ravens side that needs to keep winning in the strong AFC North.
