A potential playoff preview could be in order this week when the 3-1 Browns host the 3-1 Colts in Cleveland on Monday.
These two sides were easily among the standouts to emerge from Week 4 as the Browns’ turned in one of their best offensive performances against the Cowboys, while the Colts’ defence completely shut the door on the Bears.
Defensively, the Colts look to be the top team in the league and they certainly have the stats to back it up.
Indianapolis has allowed the fewest points in the league at this point and have also proven to be almost impossible to run against with an intimidating front line that has allowed the fourth-fewest yards on the ground.
On the flip side, the Browns almost looked like an entirely different team last week.
Cleveland dialed up a ton of motion and play action to catch the Cowboys off guard, while star receiver Odell Beckham Jr also seems to have rediscovered his old self scoring twice from scrimmage.
The Browns are no doubt much-improved compared to last year, but it’s tough to ignore how much they struggled against Baltimore’s defence in Week 1.
This is arguably an even tougher test against the top defensive line in the league, and with no Nick Chubb to rely on, you have to like the Colts’ defence to do the talking.
