Indianapolis Colts vs Jacksonville Jaguars Preview
It’s a pretty straightforward scenario this week for the Colts: win and you’re in.
A game against the worst team in the league might seem favourable, but it’s worth remembering the Colts had their hands full against the Jaguars when they squeaked out a 23-17 win back in November.
Beating the Jags at home as also proven a challenge for Frank Reich’s side in recent times.
The Colts have lost their last six trips to Jacksonville, and based on what we saw from Carson Wentz last week against the Raiders, this game is far from a ‘gimme’.
Like the Lions, it has to be said that the Jags may not be overly interested in winning this game, though.
The first overall pick in next year’s Draft is theirs if they lose, which would be a deserving reward for what has been another tumultuous season.
Like most games, there are a handful of COVID concerns on each roster, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Jags keep this close, at least in the early going.
