After winning the Ebor Handicap at York overnight, Mustajeer is now $15 equal favourite at TAB for the Caulfield Cup and $17 for the Melbourne Cup.
Mustajeer was $26 for the Caulfield Cup before the Ebor Handicap and is now one of seven horses sharing TAB favouritism at $15 for the $5 million feature to be run on October 19.
Mustajeer was $51 for the Melbourne Cup prior to the Ebor Handicap win and the Australian Bloodstock-owned galloper is now $17 at TAB.com.au with only Cross Counter and Marmelo (both $15) ahead in the betting to win the $8 million race that stops a nation on November 5.
Kris Lees will take over the training of Mustajeer once the gelding is transferred from the stable of Ger Lyons.
