The Broncos have been eliminated from playoff contention, but they’ll take great delight in spoiling Kansas City’s playoff party.
The Chiefs are not only playing for the AFC West division title on Sunday, but also the chance to secure the No. 1 seed in the conference and home-field advantage right throughout the playoffs.
Andy Reid’s side lost a thriller last week to the Bengals in Cincy, and although the defence looked shocking at times when matching up against Ja’Marr Chase, I still think that game was basically a case of the Chiefs being well overdue a loss.
Bouncing back from previous defeats has been no problem for Kansas City in recent years, and they’ll take great confidence in knowing they’ve won 12 straight games over Denver dating back to 2015.
With Teddy Bridgewater now on injured reserve and a handful of other key names also questionable, I can’t see the Chiefs losing this one.
