Ladbrokes Park (Sandown) Tips, Race Previews and Selections – 31/3/2021

Nine races will be contested at Ladbrokes Park Sandown on Wednesday, March 31st and online bookmaker Ladbrokes previews the meeting.

Almost every midweek metro meeting has taken place at Ladbrokes Park this year, so the rail will be set out 7 metres around the entire course, while the track is currently rated in the Soft (5) range.

Three Kings will take plenty of improvement into his second career starts at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday and is up to winning.

The Team McEvoy-trained stepped out on the Parks course at Morphettville on debut and raced greenly, but finished off well for fifth, beaten just over two lengths by the winner.

He has had a nice trial since that effort and harbours plenty of upside.

Expecting Limited Vision to come out of this race and instead step out at Mornington on Tuesday, and with that in mind, I’m confident that South Parade will be hard to beat.

South Parade has returned to the races in typically slick form this time, placing at his first two and winning each of his last two in impressive fashion.

He’ll get some relief in the weights with Matthew Cartwright aboard and he is drawn to receive a lovely run from barrier 5.

Steinem was an impressive winner on debut and can continue her rise through the grades at Ladbrokes Park.

The Frankel filly showed ability at the trials earlier this month and put the writing on the wall with an impressive win at Pakenham.

This is obviously harder, but he’ll take plenty of improvement for that experience and getting out to a mile looks ideal.

Zousonic looks well placed to record a second-up win at Ladbrokes Park this week.

The Zoustar progeny returned several pleasing performances in better races than this one during her spring preparation last year and found form around some quality gallopers, including Fabric and Cordilla.

I thought that there was a lot to like about her resuming effort for fourth here three weeks ago and she is open to plenty of improvement.

Facemask is another runner who strips fitter into his second campaign start at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday, and he looks a winning chance at a nice price ($7.50 at publish).

The son of Zebedee won his first start for Peter Moody last prep and went to the paddock after finishing third in BM64 company.

He ran into a lot of trouble when resuming here a fortnight ago but finished off well for fifth, and we can have an each-way play at the price this week.

I am a big fan of Rebel Racer, and he is ready to record another win at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

The four-year-old son of Rebel Raider returned to winning form under Jamie Kah here last month and was unlucky not to make it two in a row when second to Green Ivy at The Valley last time out.

He’s rock-hard fit and a return to Ladbrokes Park suits.

Rousseau is sweating on a run as an emergency in Race 7, but I think that he can win if he does gain a start.

The three-year-old son of So You Think has been a good horse for the Waller stable throughout his career and won over a mile at Pakenham earlier this prep; placing at his last two.

He is rock-hard fit and will get into this race nicely under the conditions. If he doesn’t run, it’s a no bet race for me.

Pale King has recorded three wins from as many starts, and I can’t find a reason why he won’t be in the finish again at Ladbrokes Park on Wednesday.

Granted, he has only ever contested one race at a time before returning to the paddock, but his resuming effort this time was outstanding, and he should only improve from it.
