It might sound slightly absurd, but we could be watching a potential NFC Championship Game preview on Tuesday.
In case you missed it, the Bucs absolutely manhandled the Panthers last week in Carolina, while the Rams also put on a show against the rival Seahawks winning 23-16 at home.
Obviously this is an exciting rematch between Tom Brady and Jared Goff after the former won his sixth win against the Rams back in 2019, but on a more important note, this should also be a fascinating battle between two of the most creative coaching minds in the business.
After a bit of a lull last year, Sean McVay appears to be back to his maniacal ways, while Bucs head coach Bruce Arians continues to dial up crazy schemes with his laundry list of receivers and running backs.
Defensively, these two sides are also vastly underrated, so it should be interesting to watch McVay and Arians try and cause some matchup problems for the opposing offence.
Plenty of people will probably lean towards the Over in this scenario, but it’s really worth noting how great the Rams have been defensively in the red zone this season.
Through nine games, Los Angeles has allowed the fourth0fewest touchdowns in the league, while perhaps more importantly, they also rank third in sacks.
We saw Brady rattled twice this season by the Saints and the Bears’ pass rush, and it goes without saying this Rams front seven is miles better.
Since this is a bit of a 50/50 game, go ahead and take the Rams to keep it close.
