Melbourne was able to change an arm-wrestle against the Hawks last week into a blowout in the final quarter storming home to a 50-point win.
The Dees looked impressive across the park and even the most jaded of Melbourne fan is starting to believe…somewhat.
If Melbourne were to beat the premiers on Saturday night, then people will really think that perhaps, just perhaps this could be the team that can take the oldest club in the competition back to the promised land.
Richmond was back to their ruthless best against St Kilda last Thursday night and could not have had any better preparation for a game like this.
It should be a tight one, but the Tigers simply know how to win these sorts of games.
One can only hope we see a bit of one on one between Dustin Martin and Christian Petracca on Saturday night.
