The Stars and the Strikers will both be desperate to get back to business on Friday after suffering losses late last week.
After a fast start to the season, Melbourne suddenly finds itself with plenty of ground to make up sitting seventh on the ladder, while the Strikers need to keep winning if they wish to keep touch with the runaway Sixers and the Thunder.
These two sides haven’t met this season, but it’s safe to say the Strikers have enjoyed the better part of this matchup in recent times.
Adelaide has won four of the last five meetings between these two sides, but it does appear the bookies are siding with Melbourne due to the MCG advantage.
