Short-odds are not preventing big and small punters from smashing Melbourne Storm with Sportsbet, ahead of their Preliminary final match against the Sharks.
One punter wagered $12,000 on the Storm at $1.37 and then the online bookmaker took another bet of $5,000 on the defending champions.
Storm are also the $2.75 favourite to win the Grand Final and are the best supported of the four teams.
The Sharks are $3.10 for tomorrow’s match with the biggest wager at $1,000.
In the other match, the Roosters ($1.75) and Rabbitohs ($2.10) have received a similar number of bets.
Big wagers include $8,000 on the Roosters, at their current quote and $2,500 on the Rabbitohs ($2.10).
