Preview:

An Australia Day tradition as the Melbourne Victory and Sydney FC sides prepare to face off in their annual January 26th clash.

With both sides in the midst of chasing league leading Perth neither will be too keen to cede ground with the runner up prize of a week off in the finals a decent consolation.

It was Ola Toivonen and Keisuke Honda making the difference for the Victory when these sides faced off in Sydney and the Swedish striker will likely have to do it himself this time, with Honda still out through injury.

Sydney are not going to lie down but will have to back up from a tough outing in Wellington on Wednesday night and a sluggish start could prove costly here.

Both sides have the attacking talent to get on the scoresheet but you have to give the edge to the rested Victory side at home.
