There’s a very strong chance this turns out to be one of the games of the week between two promising up and coming teams.
While Tua Tagavailoa wasn’t asked to do much in his rookie debut last week against the Rams, the Dolphins still managed to remind everyone that they are indeed a playoff contender with an impressive 28-17 win.
The Cardinals are returning from the bye week hoping to pick up where they left off a fortnight ago in their overtime win against Seattle.
Typically speaking, Arizona has been a strong bet following a week off playing to a 4-2 record after the bye dating back to 2015. That said, the Cardinals will need to ensure they’re at their best against what has been a surprisingly good Dolphins defence this season.
Miami currently rank dead last in points allowed, an almost unfathomable turnaround after ranking top five in the same department last year.
This is equally a huge test for the Dolphins as they prepare to face what is arguably one of the most volatile offences in the league.
It would not surprise to watch either team win this game, although you do have to lean towards Arizona based on the way they shutdown Russell Wilson two weeks ago.
The Cardinals’ pass rush is vastly underrated at this point, and since we haven’t seen much from Tua just yet, this one might just be a little beyond the Dolphins.
