New Zealand backed that performance up with a careless game against Melbourne last Saturday night, but there were still a handful of positives to take away from the 104-98 loss.
The Taipans also failed together two straight wins as they lost by four to the 36ers in Adelaide. Cairns took care of the Wildcats the week prior but struggled to win the rebound battle against the 36ers.
Everything considered, this looks to be a very interesting betting game. The line favours the Breakers by 5.5-points, but considering New Zealand has covered the line in only seven of their 15 games as home favourites against the Taipans, it looks a risky play.
Instead, it’s worth taking on New Zealand despite how impressive they looked at home last week. The Breakers are 9-7 as the away underdog at the line, so take the Taipans to keep this close.
