Newcastle returned to action and looked good in patches but ultimately faded late against Adelaide last weekend, while the Roar recorded a resounding 3-0 win over Western Sydney.
This is a rivalry that has favoured the away team, with Brisbane only losing five times in A-League history as the visitors to McDonald Jones Stadium and winning the last two matches 2-1.
However, there is a lot to like about what Arthur Papas has built in the Hunter region, and the Jets have played some of the most entertaining football in the A-Leagues all season.
