Newcastle Knights vs Manly Sea Eagles Preview

The Knights knew they had to win last week after suffering back-to-back losses and they wasted no time responding with a blowout win over the Tigers.

As a result, Newcastle has been well-supported to keep the good times rolling this week against a Manly side limping to the finish line.

The Sea Eagles suffered their second straight defeat at the hands of the Warriors last week and with Tom Trbojevic and Dylan Walker still a week or two away, it’s difficult to see Manly bouncing back.

The Knights already own a victory over the Sea Eagles after downing Manly 14-12 back in Round 8.

Home field advantage is just another positive for the Knights, although the casualty ward is beginning to grow again with Bradman Best and Edrick Lee out indefinitely.

With a few stars missing, it wouldn’t be surprising if this game turns out to be low scoring.

The Total has gone Under in the last two meetings between Manly and Newcastle, so let’s go with a Same Game Multi.
