The Eagles were on the receiving end of their first home loss to the Suns last week, but there is hope on the horizon with Jack Darling set to make his return against North on Sunday.
The star forward was the talk of the offseason due to his vaccination status, and he should provide a nice boost to the Eagles’ forward line after they struggled for points last week.
There’s also a chance Luke Shuey returns to the side, while Liam Ryan and Tim Kelly are both chances if they clear the Covid protocol.
North, on the other hand, will be looking to make amends for last week’s close call against Hawthorn.
Head coach Brendan Whitecross loaded up on talls in an effort to combat the Hawks’ back line, only for the plan to fall apart in the fourth quarter as Chad Wingard took hold.
There were encouraging signs for North, and this does shape as a winnable game for them playing at home.
