The Dragons did themselves no favours last week in their loss to the Titans, but they do have a chance to make up for lost time against another of the league’s bottom feeders on Sunday.
North Queensland are on the verge of a 10th straight loss after coming up 16 points short of the Sharks last week at Jubilee.
The Cowboys’ injury list claimed another victim with Michael Morgan suffering a calf injury and it is very difficult to see them overcoming his absence based on the way they performed without their captain in the lineup earlier in the year.
St George has been nearly impossible to get a read on this year, but they have been a fairly consistent customer against the Cowboys recently.
The Saints have won four of their last five over North Queensland, three of which have come by a margin of 1-12.
This game probably won’t be pretty, but you have to like the Dragons to at least put up a fight with their season on the line.
