Odds say Coalition will win Federal Election as Hung Parliament becomes unlikely

The topsy-turvy election is finally becoming more clear with the odds according to online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au shifting in Malcolm Turnbull’s favour.

The Coalition were $1.15 to form government before voting resumed today but are now a short $1.03 – their shortest price of the whole election campaign.

Labor have drifted from their outside chance of $4.50 to now stand at odds of $10 – their largest price of this election.

A hung parliament is now not expected to happen but it is still close, with no paying $1.75, in from $3.00 on Tuesday and yes out to $2.00 from $1.35.

“The majority of money is backing there to be no hung parliament and Hindmarsh could be the seat that sees the Coalition just get over the line to form a majority government but it’s touch and go,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
