A Saturday night blockbuster will see the resurgent Perth Scorchers take on the Sydney Thunder, with plenty on the line for both sides.
It took the Scorchers a few to find their rhythm earlier this season, but three-consecutive wins over the Strikers, Renegades and table-topping Sixers have seen them right back into contention, and they take all of the momentum into this clash.
The Thunder’s impressive winning streak came to an end at the hands of the Brisbane Heat earlier this week, but they remain one of BBL10’s most dangerous sides, and the Scorchers simply cannot afford to take them lightly.
Given this match will be played in Perth, I understand why the Scorchers have been priced as favourites, but I really don’t think that there is too much separating these sides, and I am happy to take the value the is on offer for the Thunder.
