The Trail Blazers have finally put together a great post-season run to find themselves in a Conference Finals series with the Warriors. It certainly wasn’t easy for the third seed Blazers against a young Nuggets outfit that boasts one of the best big men in the league, but they got the job done in seven games and now have a chance to face the champs without Durant for at least the first two games. On the other hand, Steph Curry, Klay Thomson and the Warriors were able to defy the odds in Game 6 against the Rockets to close out the series against their new age rivals in style. Despite being banged up, the Warriors looked as lethal as ever with both Splash Brothers finding their range and causing all sorts of problems for the opposition defence. Now against a much weaker team in the Blazers who had to exhaust themselves to get to this point, we have the defending champs making a statement in Game 1.
