We’re back to Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday, July 21st, and seven races are on the program.
The rail will be set out 4 metres around the entire course and at publish, we’re faced with a track rated in the Soft (7) range.

Race 1 – 12:50PM – Admire Mars At Arrowfield Plate, (1100m)
There’s virtually no form to divulge ahead of the first at Randwick-Kensington on Saturday and at publish, several debutants are prominent in the market.
I can’t find anything that I am particularly confident in, and I am happy to stay out.
Race 2 – 1:25PM – Darley Supporting Catwalk Plate, (1100m)
She didn’t know much on debut in January, but her recent trial at Gosford suggested that Laurelin has continued to furnish, and I am happy to have something on her at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The Lonhro filly failed to quicken when finishing seven lengths behind Four Moves Ahead on debut, but the form out of that race obviously held up.
Under James McDonald, I think that she can win.
Race 3 – 2:00pm – Sky Racing Handicap, (1550m)
Canadian Spice typically races well on a rain-affected track and can return to winning form at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The Vancouver filly recorded a lovely win at Canterbury in late May and has been a consistent performer in tougher races since, finishing fourth in Saturday grade on the main course here at Randwick last time.
Dropping back to the midweeks, she’ll take plenty of beating.
Race 4 – 2:35pm – Benchmark 72 Handicap, (1300m)
Kinloch wasn’t far away from the winner at Rosehill Gardens last time and strikes a winnable race at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The I Am Invincible colt charged in to score here two starts back, and he kept all of his best work for late when sixth, beaten less than two lengths in BM72 company last time.
Hughie Bowman steers from a good alley and the horse is a proven performer in the wet.
Race 5 – 3:10pm – Heineken Handicap, (1800m)
Peekays Legacy flies on a wet track and looks a key winning chance in the fifth at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday.
The Nicconi gelding recorded consecutive wins, albeit at a weaker grade at Kembla Grange and Hawkesbury two and three starts back, and he flashed late to fill the minors at Warwick Farm last time.
He takes plenty of weight from some of his key rivals and with even luck, he can fight out the finish.
Race 6 – 3:45pm – China Horse Club Handicap, (1550m)
There are some quality horses engaged in the penultimate race at Randwick-Kensington on Wednesday, including Kutayha.
Kutayha has continued to improve with each of his four starts back this time, and he was last seen finishing third behind the likes of No Compromise at Rosehill Gardens.
I like that he has been back to the trials since that effort and the drop in grade adds further confidence.
Race 7 – 4:20pm – Vinery Stud Handicap, (1100m)
Dubai Star returns from a trip to Brisbane in the last at Randwick-Kensington and can record another win.
The Pride Of Dubai filly showed some ability while under the care of Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott, but the switch to Annabel Neasham’s set-up has already started to pay dividends, and she flashed late to get there at Doomben last time.
I’m confident that run will have brought her right on, and she’ll take beating again.
