The dream of back-to-back premierships and three flags in four seasons is still alive for Richmond and they are $1.85 favourites at TAB to win the 2020 AFL premiership.
The Tigers were $3.80 to win this season’s flag before the opening bounce of their preliminary final against Port Adelaide at the Adelaide Oval and were victorious by six points in a low-scoring encounter in wet conditions.
Richmond were $4.50 before the start of this season to win the premiership and $8 was on offer before Round 9 got underway with one TAB customer placing $10,000 at $4.25 on September 2 for a potential $42,500 collect.
Another TAB punter has been rewarded for their long-term vision after they placed a total of $29,000 from November last year to March this year on the Tigers to contest the 2020 grand final for a $78,500 payday.
One bet of $50,000 at $2.10 was placed this afternoon on Richmond to account for Port Adelaide in tonight’s grand final qualifier.
